ASU Web Community Updates

The following updates relate to:

  • Webspark releases and notes
  • Web hosting changes 2025: From Pantheon to Aquia

We have published a page showing our Acquia 2025 pricing model and will continue to update its content with details as they become available.

Beginning in January 2025, ASU will begin transitioning from Pantheon to Acquia as the enterprise-approved web hosting provider. This migration is part of our commitment to reliability, scalability, streamlining business operations, aligning with brand standards and providing excellent customer service.

Next steps

  • Enterprise Technology will handle all migrations for current production (live) Drupal sites in Pantheon. Individual site owners will be contacted with specific migration deadlines. Please ensure your ownership details are up to date in the Official Web Inventory sheet.
  • Pantheon WordPress site owners are responsible for their own migration out of the platform—a separate email with specific details, including a timeline, will be sent out early in January 2025.
  • Drupal 7 and 8 sites will not be migrated to the new environment. Only production environments will be migrated; sandboxes, development and test environments are excluded.
  • Pricing details will be available soon.

Enterprise Technology and Acquia Professional Services will work with all site owners to ensure a smooth transition by May 31, 2025.
